Melissa Rycroft could be known as the Reality TV Queen. She competed on CMT's Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team for two seasons before heading to ABC where she was a contestant on The Batchelor and Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). We all know the outcome of her CMT experience. Melissa cheered for the Cowboys during the 2006 and 2007 seasons. She then went on to achieve notoriety after being engaged to bachelor Jason Mesnick who eventually broke her heart on national TV. Ever resilient, Melissa went on to fill in for the injured Nancy O'Dell on DWTS. She and partner Tony Dovolani stole the hearts of the judges and viewers, making it all the way to the finale where they placed third in a close race with winner Shawn Johnson and first runner-up Gilles Marini.
Who knows what the future holds for the perky former DCC? One thing is for certain - it will be interesting. While competing on DWTS, Melissa made several appearances on shows such as Ellen Degeneres and Jimmy Kimmel Live (see video below). She was even offered $500,000 to pose for Playboy which she turned down.
Don't be surprised if Melissa turns up on our TV screens again. After all, she has done so for four years running.
